- Does Simple Scan require internet access?
- No. Simple Scan is 100% offline. It has no internet permission and never connects to any server.
- Where are my scanned documents stored?
- Documents are stored in the app's private storage on your device. When you export a PDF, it is saved to your device's Documents/Simple Scan folder.
- Can I scan multiple pages into one PDF?
- Yes. The camera stays open so you can capture as many pages as you need. All pages are combined into a single PDF when you export.
- Can I edit pages after scanning?
- Yes. Tap any page thumbnail in the review screen to crop, rotate, or adjust brightness and contrast.
- Can I reorder pages?
- Yes. In the review screen, long-press any page and drag it to rearrange the order.
- Is the app really free?
- Yes. Simple Scan is completely free with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no premium tier.
- What Android version is required?
- Simple Scan requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher.
- How large is the app?
- Simple Scan is under 5 MB, so it installs quickly and takes up minimal space on your device.
